he took a slow shaky sip of water letting out a slight sigh "so?" he asked Zander keeping his tone light as he inwordly worked up the will to get up checking the trusty oar was by the bed

Jack took the bottle from him his hands trembling as he drank from it his eyes showing the will for it to kill the pain and not pleasure from drinking it as much as he would hate admitting to it

Jack drank about half the bottle then made to move biting his lip hard as the broken bones grinded together his eyes watered but like hell he'd cry...

usually Jack would refuse but he found himself clutching at him his breathing coming in gasps as he attempted to use the oar to steady himself

"for what not laying about all day doing nothing?" he grunted forcing himself to stand using the oar but it could be seen he was still haky with pin he was just strong and stubborn
