Aww, thanks ladies.
I woke up this morning and didn't say anything because there had been a rumor that I was getting a surprise party today.
So, my grandmother decided, "We're going Christmas Shopping today." I said "Bleh, not today." Then my mom looks at me and says, "Quit complaining, you don't have to do anything tomorrow."
Puzzled, I asked why and she looked at me bewildered, "You birthday's tomorrow, stupid face."
And I smiled and walked away, "Nope, the birthday's today. Today's the 24th."
Yes, it's true, I am one of five people in the house, and I am the only one who remembered my birthday.
So, I've been Christmas shopping since 10 this morning. It's now 2:10 in the afternoon, and I have no cake or pie(I usually get pumpkin pie instead), no gift of any sort, (I got a cornet for my birthday early, but the mouthpiece I was to get today), and only two happy birthday wishes from the family: Mom and my Gram.
Brother: Oh whatever. Back to the X-Box.
Father: *crickets chirping sound here*
Yay, 18th birthday for me. I can now be legally tried as an adult. Excuse me while I go and fight my family...
lol.
But, thanks, I really appreciate you guys saying happy birthday. It means a lot this year.
