Of Dreams and Friendship The Role Play

Zander sadly watched his sister work through her shift waiting for her break. He knew she would then sit at the farest table in the farest corner and listen to the old and former sailors tell their tales of the sea. His sister may hate their father but she loved and lived for the sea.
Chrissa like always, ordered the drinks placed them on the appropriate tables. This routine had gotten so familiar and the people rarely changed that she had memorized the orders and who they went with. She glanced towards her brother who was busy with a customer. She went back to her work as someone was wanting a refil.

Jack came in with his father laughing and chatting. He had fewer dreads in his hair at this time though he still wore a bandana and walked with a slight swagger. He may only have been seventeen but he always came in here with his father to drink.

Chrissa noticed the two men enter her brother's bar and making sure to finish pouring the man she was serving drink before watching them again. She was intrigued by the two men who were so alike yet so different.

"what yeh drinking son same as always?" Jacob asked as they sat at the bar.
AJack nodded, "aye"
"two pints ah rum please and eh keep the change. Jacob said handing her a lot more money than the drinks cost. They had just had a raid and so money was scarce, for a while at least. Jacob tended to act first then find quick ways out later. A trait his son seemed to be picking up.

Zander nodded at his two favorite customers and got to getting them their drinks. As he filled up the two pints, he thought that maybe Jack would be a good friend for Chrissa. He placed the pints in front of the two men.
"Jack, Jacob, my sister isn't happy. I was wondering if it would be ok with you two fine men if I introduce you to her? She's Jack's age. She's the red-headed one over there." Zander pointed to the red-head in the back corner of the room near the entrance.

"Free pint and a woman all in the space ah one day yeh got it made my son!" Jacob said slapping Jack on the back. "Ah got a few things I need ter sort out anyway. I'll leave ye to it, i'll meet yeah back here at sunset aye" he said standing up with his pint and leaving before Jack even had the chance to reply.

Zander laughted hartily at the stunned Jack. He took that as a cue to bring Chrissa over.
"CHRISSA! YOU'RE OFF! COME HERE!" Zander yelled acrossed the bar to his sister.
Chrissa glanced at her brother and rolled her eyes. She walked over to the bar and placed her tray on the bar and smirked at her brother.
"I was just a few feet away from you. You needn't to yell you know." Chrissa said.
Zander shrugged her off.
"Yeah, well, what's done is done, eh? Besides, I want to introduce you to Jack Sparrow. Jack Sparrow, my sister, Chrissa Williams."

Jack smirked, "yer brother seems ter think we can't talk fer ourselves." he said smirking at her and her brother. "Anyways how about we get someone ter get yeh a drink stead ah you gettin' the drinks eh, what say you to that?" he asked.

Chrissa laughed and gave Jack a smirk of her own.
"Yes, my overbearing older brother of mine, tends to do that." Chrissa answered then turned to her brother. "I'd like my usual please."
Zander nodded and poured her mug of rum. Once she got her drink she turned back to Jack.
"Well, Mr. Sparrow, I know a table that's perfect for a first time meeting." She got off the stool and led the way to her favorite table.

Chrissa silently thanked the heavens that someone didn't immediately place her as her father's daughter. She had gotten her flaming red hair from him and thus it seemed that anyone she met immediately placed her. Chrissa sighed, knowing Jack would want an answer.
"My father was one of the most awful pirates there ever was, Jack. He wouldn't just raid a town and be done with it, he tortured the people too. It was all a game to him. Once he could do no more to the village, he left and came back to Tortuga. My mother was his favorite whore and each time he come back he found he had a kid. Once we were old enough, he took us on his ship...and those were the worst years of my life that i spent on the ship. I hate him for what he did to me and my family, to the villages that he tortured. My father Jack, is," Chrissa paused to wipe the tears that had formed and to take a drink that seem to steady her.
"My father, is Cutthroat Bobby Williams the Pirate-theif." Chrissa stared into her mug.

Chrissa looked up at him. "Of course people have heard of him. They'd have to be blind and deaf not to have. And of course, they immediately think I've fallen into the same line of work, shall we say because I have his red hair and I have this." Chrissa over turned her left wrist and showed him the brand surrounded by odd shaped old scars.

If I had a choice, I'd be out there on a ship sailing where ever I wanted when I wanted. No more waitressing and living in my hell of a life. My ship would be my freedom."

But I signed a contract with my brother and I plan to honor that. So I'm stuck here for another few years." Chrissa smiled back. Somehow talking to Jack about her father helped.

You see, to leave him here would be the death of him because he'd have to deal with my mother forcing our miserable sister to be his bar whore. I couldn't do that to him." Chrissa sighed.
"At least you didn't get saddled with name that you hate." Chrissa stated gloomy.

"Because for him to come with me would mean he'd be sacrificing his dream and I couldn't do that. Besides, the only thing that's keeping my mother and sister from coming in, is the fact I'm working there. Although, it's not like their doing bad for themselves at the whore house. My mother's the top whore, so my sister's got it made. All she has to do is what she does best." Chrissa's tone became a little bitter when she talked about her mother and her sister.

he shook his head, "it's alright." he said uietly. He hadn't really let the pain he felt from loosing them surface before. He remembered how excited he'd been when he fond out he was going to be a big brother, until they didn't wake up.

It had a great number of years. Jack sat in a bar. e had lost everything, his home ship crew his father had just died giving the ship to him. He had just escaped the island but had no where to go.

Chrissa hadn't seen Jack for years now. She was still waiting tables in her brother's bar. However she noticed someone very familar sitting at her favorite table. She saw her brother nudge a mug of rum towards her. She took it and walked over to the man.
"Jack? Is that you?" Chrissa asked softly so not to alarm him.

Chrissa took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. "When I was seven, he took Zander, Josie and I on his ship. For the first two years it was pleasant, well, as pleasant as a evil ship could be. Then it started to turn bad. He made Zander join the crew, introduced my sister to the world of sex for money and locked me in a cabin for weeks on time. One day, he was drunk and came into my cabin. I hadn't had any food for weeks by this time so I wasn't able to fight back. He raped me, Jack. He would lock me up for weeks on end without food and get drunk and rape me or torture me for years. The scars I have are from those years. We were left with our mother after ten years on that ship. Zander started the bar and my sister, who was now addicted, worked with our mother. I stayed with Zander." Chrissa was now sobbing reliving those memories.

Chrissa went in and luckly got in right away. After ten more minutes, the doctor confirmed with a huge smile on his face. She was two months along. Right then and there, she had made her decision. She just had to face Jack.
She walked out of there and spotted him waiting for her. She smiled.

By some miracle her brother found her and took her back to his bar. After that day, she wouldn't do anything for weeks. She just lied in bed and cried. It wasn't until her brother told her that she had to live for her child that she started living again.

When Bethany was old enough, she began to question why her father wasn't there. Chrissa now knew that it was time to try and find Jack again. Maybe there was still hope. Chrissa and Bethany started to track down Jack and started to constantly move so she could find him. She hated moving Bethany around but the little girl didn't seem to mind much.
