Alright, since my Christmas gift directly correlates with this site, I have to tell you a story:
In the past spring, my school was allowed to go on over-seas trips again since the whole 9/11 incident and my Spanish Club sponsor, also my teacher, gave out little flyers for a Spain trip.
After much pleading and much convincing, I got my mom to allow me to go...there's five of us that are basically like family going so we'll be together for 10 days in the wonderful country of Espana (with a tilde, my computer's rather dumb.)
One of the stipulations that I loudly voiced was that if I was able to go, I wouldn't want much for my bithday in November or Christmas because this trip's a rather heavy chunk of change.
I'm just going to admit it, I'm a band geek...well, a music geek. I plan to go to college for music and do everything that ever comes up...Including the Halloween parade. I convinced my mom to buy a pirate pattern and I had a blue velvet pirate over-coat. I was a happy camper. She gave me birthday presents early: Leather Pirate Hat, Leather Knee-Pirate boots, and a replica of a trinket of Jack's that I wear as a necklace...I told her she didn't have to...but marched through the parade and scampered to a costume party after.
At 12 o'clock this morning after getting home from church, I open a rather large, heavy and square present from the back. "Aww, thanks mom, I needed a pushpin board..." (Which I do...) I flipped it over and there's a framed autographed picture of Johnny and Orlando in costume...
I was speechless...I expected nothing for Christmas...squeeeeeee! As soon as I can, I'll take a picture of it and load it here to show you!
