CotBP or DMC?

So the second film has come out now and it's certainly got people talking about one thing or another but which one do you prefer?

For me it's still curse of the black pearl because that's the film that got me addicted and I had never seen anything that captured my attention so much. Although the second came close, it was still the spunk, flair and lightheartedness of the first that i enjoyed.

Anyone else?

That's how I feel, COTBP is still number one in my book even though DMC wasn't bad.

Yeah, same for me...DMC put up one hell of a fight, but the first one is still my favorite. I liked the CGI in the first better, for instance. SO that's my vote...CotBP all the way! ^.~*

I must agree with you on the CotBP. The originality of the first movie is like no other film made to date, or at least in my eyes anyway. Although DMC was very good unlike most sequels. I have to say, in my opinion, it was the best sequel I have ever seen. But CotBP is number in my book!

CotBP for me as it was one of the first Johnny movies I saw and it got me even more obessed with pirates. I loved DMC but the CotBP will always hold a special place in my heart.

Don't get me wrong the second one was awesome, but the first one was better in many folds, maybe its because everything was new and i wasn't expecting it to be good, wasn't really fond of pirate movies but after watching it i had expectations from the second one so was expecting qualities like humour and everything merged in it.

I'm the only one that picked DMC? I guess I like it more because it's the continuation of the first. Besides, Scruffy Norrie, need I say more?
