Alright then, I suppose I'll be first.
Jack Sparrow was without a shirt. Drool. And what's with these tatoos, hmm? Who would love to sit there and read them? Especially the one on the back of his shoulder.
Did anyone else love the goat scene on the ship? Loved that part...so...alright, I'm done for now.

I really enjoyed the movie and the characters (always a strong point from the beginning).
By the end of this one, you really got to see the other side of Jack - OK, so you got to see lots of Jacks - but they really showed where Jack stood. All his internal struggles seemed to come to a close in this one. His ultimate objective is clear: he craves immortality. And when he gave up his chance to become Captain of the Dutchman for the sake of saving Will - wow. Bravo, Jack, we knew you had it in you.
And Elizabeth really came into her own. I loved how she became the strong woman; of course, I always love stong female roles. But the whinier, high-society side of her character totally melted away, and all you could see was the raw emotion and power of her will. However, I was a little saddened by the predicament she and Will faced in the end. And that leads us to...
Will. Wow. He really moved me in this one. I was ready to cut my own heart out for him. Between his struggles with Lizzy, his desire for his father's freedom, and his ultimate inprisionment upon the Ducthman, yeah, he really hit a chord with me. No more little reserved blacksmith. All pirate, all man. Yay, Will!
But the best characterization in this film: Hector Barbossa. I didn't necessarily hate him in the first film, I just didn't like him. Hello, he was the bad guy! OK, so he's not MUCH better in this one, but he was a riot to watch. I really found myself rooting him on. Go Barbossa! Yeah, he was awesome in this flick.
AWE may not be my favorite in the series (not as much Jack Sparrow, a little on the ridiculous side with the parachute, fighting in the maelstrom, Calypso's unbinding scene, etc.) but I felt a lot of closure for some of the main characters. Now all we have to look forward to is what happens between Jack, Barbossa and the crew of the Black Pearl.
I'd give this movie 8 out 10 as a whole. All in all, a good ending to a wonderful trilogy. Now, can we have more?

every character held their own oh and to the speech Lizzie gave the Brethen made me say "YOU GO GIRL". How about Teaque Sparrow! yay for Papa Sparrow, I don't know about you, but I want more Pirate adventures, Jack and Barbossa are two sides of the same coin, and I loved their scene on the beach looking at the Kraken's corspe. Did you hear how well Jack spoke? and you got to see the real him for once. Okay okay I was jeolus of everything he licked, got even his tonque is sexy. I cried for Liz! she loses her father, she loses her best friend Norrighton(why did they have to kill him) and than almost losing Will! gah when Jack took her from Will, and she lost it, I cried with her, but it would had been much worse if she would had seen her man's heart being cut out.
Gah I want to see it again but money is tight.

I WANT TO LIVE IN DAVY JONES' LOCKER ON A SHIP OF A HUNDRED JACKS!!!
Oh my God was this movie amazing or what? Jack was, as usual, sexy as hell and had some of the best lines. You've just gotta love him, especially when he shows that 'man behind the pirate' that we're always talking about.
Elizabeth?? What can I say, I'll hate her until the day I die for the first and second move.... but I'll admit to gaining a little (and we're talking barely any here) respect for the whore.
I missed Barbossa! I forgot how awsome of a character he was. He's got some great lines too, rivaling Jack in his wittyness.
All around my favorite out of the three!! I'll be damned if I'm not already praying for a fourth one too!! Haha.

Yup Jack and Hector, they're both so awesome, totally my favourite.
Best scene of the whole film... Jack thinking he's hallucinating and strolling up to Barbossa like 'Heccttooor' I loved that bit!
Yeah I'd forgotten about the parachute but then after all the other weird stuff it didn't seem so bad! It kinda reminded me of the bit in the James Bond film Die another Day- anyone else seen that?
I agree with what VioletPearl said. The scenes may have bordered on the weird side but the characters got better. I think that's pretty accurate.

Oh yes, there is a ton of new possibilities for new fics.
Ok, shirtless Jack, I call one of them! I want to know what his tattoos are now!
Overall, I really liked this movie. I'm a Disney Beta tester...so I get inside information from time to time about movies, stories, surveys...etc and Disney sent me a ton of the Background story of Jack and how he and Beckett knew each other before they had anything posted on Wikipedia.
Jack: Johnny Depp, I salute you. This was a wonderful performance. When Jack first comes into view I was all happy because 'YAY, It's Captain Jack!' But when his other traits were visible to us, I felt bad. Jack was fighting himself for being stuck in the locker...even if he didn't *ahem* know exactly where he was. When he and Beckett were speaking in his quarters, all I kept thinking was 'Beckett, you sly SOB, Jack's gonna get you!'...and he did. At the end when Jack was holding Jones' heart...my caballero yelled out 'JACK DON'T DO IT!' When Davy stabbed Will, it was a 'Damn' moment-I hope Jack won't do anything rash. There really wasn't any part of the movie with Jack that I didn't like. Favorites include the goat, the supposed Hallucination with the crew in the Locker, and the 'Once was enough' moment with Elizabeth.
Will: Alright, you ended up not being such a pain in the ass after all, but I still think he's kind-of a wuss. I'm not a Will or Orlando Bloom fan. I liked his an an elf and a knight in Kingdom of Heaven. I loved the part where Jones walks into Beckett's quarters and sees Will: 'So you've come to join my crew.' "No, his." There was wit there...bravo, whelp, you're learning. When his father was fighting him...all I wanted to do was slap Bootstrap. THAT'S YOUR BLOODY SON! The fact that he becomes the transporter of souls is very fitting to his ethics.
Elizabeth: Alright, so now she's the King of the Pirates and...she's been on land for 10 years raising a kid. Isn't that a bit contradictory? Anyway, bravo Miss Swan...Mrs. Turner...You grew up a crap load after you killed Jack and rescued him. It was fitting when Jack saw her in the locker...'No...uh-uh...*scurries away*' Her speech, very well spoken to captivate even Barbossa. You went up a point, Elizabeth...only a point.
Norrington: I cried, put my head on my guy's shoulder and cried some more. I love Jack Davenport: He has an amazing sense of dry humor and is the chivalrous guy you want as a friend. Norrie's quote, "Our fates have always been entwined, just never joined" when he told her to leave him behind, I kept hoping he would grab the rope then go in the water. Bootstrap...I wanted to kill him. I know that he wasn't completely with it, but I was livid. "Do you fear death?" *skewer* "I'll take that as a 'no'." Ten points, James, you have redeemed yourself and even gone back to the 'I'll overlook the betrayal altogether.'
Davy Jones...the poor blighter. When he shed a tear, I was confused because he wasn't to feel anything, but then the heart came on board and OH, that explains it. I felt bad, but his soul wasn't fixable. He got what was deserved.
Tia Dalma...alright Calypso, I guessed you were his love last movie, but you were a pain in the ass. I was definitely not a fan of her this movie.
The other seven lords...Shipwreck Cove was amazing. The lords were a favorite scene because it encompassed everything pirate-esque that I know about real pirates. They kept the costumes close to the real thing. I have a list from Disney of the Lords, their territory, flag, and if they were known for anything if any of you would like it. I may post it on the lair.
Barbossa, I love you. Geoffery Rush, I love you reading Edgar Allen Poe. His wit and Jack's wit are so amazing. I wonder what would happen if you got both Jack and Barbossa equally drunk and told them to have a wit match....that would be entertaining.
Mr. Beckett...excuse me, Lord Beckett...bad gents always get their come-up-ens...always. Before he went up in flame, I was so smug because of what he had done throughout the movies. I kept waiting for him to say it and then he did, "It's only good business."
I loved this movie because, even though it was questionable as a Disney movie...it was dark and foreboding; and it allowed the audience to see the other facets of each character.
But...you know...piratically speaking, I'm not biased.

The tons of Jacks actually pissed me off a bit--but hear me out! They had fuzzy edges to give off the image that they were merely figments of Jack's imagination. I don't think that that gives the audience enough credit. But seeing him shirtless was definitely a plus. ;D Overall though, this one was much better than the 2nd. And I don't give a fuck what the critics say 'cause I sure as hell enjoyed it. And btw, has anyone heard if Pirates outdid Spiderman? I know that was the hope for Pirates to do that and to "save the 3rds," but I haven't heard word on either account yet. crazee4rum

No, Pirates didn't outdo Spiderman. It fell short. It's numbers were even less than last years release. Overseas it did great and had about $206 million but here remember that they only count the three day weekend. The final numbers will be released today I think but so far it fell short.
I'm going to say something that is probably going to get me tomatoes thrown at but Johnny's body really doesn't do it for me. He's not very muscular at all. He has a few muscles but not too many and I like a man with more meat on his bones. *shrugs* Plus, did anyone else notice that when he was shirtless all his scars disappeared? He had a ton of tattoos but his bullet holes and knife wounds were gone! WTF?
Also Elizabeth still didn't impress me in this movie. And it really isn't Keira Knightley's fault. I think it's the writers. I just don't think her character is very believeable. Yes, they had women pirates but they were as ruthless as the men. Come on, you have a girl who has lived a very sheltered life up till now and now you make her a Pirate Lord. I think what Jack's line is very accurate. "What are they just giving the title away now?" I understood why Jack voted for her because had he voted for himself no-one would have been selected and they both wanted to fight so two votes needed to go to her so he could get what he wanted but the rest is just unbelievable. Like how all these big rough and tough pirates want to run away from a fight with their tail between their legs but she's the one that starts saying we need to hoist the colors. Please!
Jack was as always the best and I thought the beginning was really slow without him and I thought it was very stupid to take 50 minutes to bring in the star of the movie. I thought his entrance in this one was rather disappointing when the other two were so great. The multiple Jacks were funny but I think they kind of overdid it on those. This movie showed a lot of different sides to Jack, which I liked. Especially when Will gets stabbed and you see that in his face he's really hurting about it. He talks a lot of crap about not liking the whelp but in the end he really does and he saves Will's life. I think Jack had a lot more funny lines and scenes in this movie than he did in DMC. But maybe that's just me.
Will was great. He's more mature, more ruthless, more pirate. I love how he's grown throughout the three movies and you can see it just by the way he dresses. Orlando, for one, looks really good dressed like a pirate. I think Will is a great mixture because he can be romantic at the same time that he's kicking ass. When he was stabbed I gasped because I really didn't expect that to happen. Especially since Davy saw Jack with the heart. I think Davy underestimated Jack's affection for Will.
My favorites by far in this movie were Jack, Will, Barbossa, and of course Monkey Jack. He's too cute when he pulls the pistol on the parrot and he's freezing or when they shoot him out of the cannon and his butt is on fire. I was sad that they killed Norrie. The rest of the deaths I was okay about because I really disliked Governor Swann and Mercer. I was just waiting for them to get killed. Tiny Beckett and Davy Jones were always alright in my book so I was just in different to their deaths.
Overall, though, I think the movie is iffy. It had some good points but it also had some bad points. First of all, it was very slow in the beginning and it kind of did a seesaw throughout the movie were it would pick up speed and then slow down again. The other two were good flowing movies. Second of all, they left some questions unanswered. Like how the hell did the Kraken die? What happened he got indegestition from Jack? Third of all, I think they had too many characters in this movie and that was the main problem because they were trying to get everyone to have a good enough part but by skipping between them all they screwed up the flow of the movie. Seo Fang was a rather pointless character and I would have cut his scenes to just explaining he's a pirate lord and then he makes Lizzie a pirate lord. Keith Richards was alright, although, I think they should have made him a better cameo. Like have him act like Johnny so then it could be like, like father, like son. I think it would have been funnier.
They certaintly left it open for a fourth pirates though. Whether they continue with it the way it is or just do a spin off. They still left it open depending on how much revenue this movie makes. It's all about making money.

The other scars, because the scene was taken out of CotBP, the scars are now non-existent, which is a complete bummer.
About the Kraken...Beckett goes on the Dutchman earlier in the movie and talks about doing as he's told. "And why haven't you killed your pet yet?" I'm assuming that after they put the heart at gun point on the Dutchman, Jones had to do as he was told. He wanted to have hope of keeping his captaincy in the end.
I agree about Sao Feng...his role in the movie was a little unnecessary. They should have had him in for longer or shorter... The amount of time he was there was kinda ...ok...now what? ish.

I read some where that it wasn't Johnny but a body double, who cares, I love Jack, and I think he is the hottest man walking the face of this earth. He is ageless.
